Chris Pronger Traded To The Kings: Or Alternately, Why Confirmation is a Good Thing
by Jonathan Willis on Jun 12, 2009 11:53 AM PDT

This lovely screen shot is all that remains of a since-removed blog entry. Strickland has a new entry up, with much more generic terms, like:
- "blockbuster trade could very well be in the works"
- "Nothing has been confirmed"
- "I have spoken to people with the Kings organization as well as Chris Pronger who has yet to be notified of a trade."
And that, ladies and gentlemen, is why respectable MSM types wait for confirmation before running with something. Of course, Strickland said it was unconfirmed, but it's not a good idea for a guy who a lot of people trust (and believe it or not, Strickland qualifies) to put out details without checking first
