SBNation's Oilers vs Canucks coverage

Nucks Misconduct

Star-divide

Today is the first day of the rest of the march towards the lottery for the Oilers.  With any luck, that march will coincide with a regime change in the front office.  Cross your fingers wish upon a star folks, it's the only thing that's left.

Vancouver's record is finally catching up to their numbers.  They've been better than their record for most of the year.  Some Flames fans say it's the emotion of not being able to play well if Luongo is hurt.  Couldn't just be bad lack though, huh?

Are the Canucks interested in Kovalchuk?  Seems like an overreaction to bad luck if they were to make a deal.

Willie Mitchell's contract is up at the end of the year.  What should Vancouver do with him?
