Omark a longshot to make Swedish olympic team

Team Sweden played the last game of The Channel one Cup in Russia today. The tournament was pretty much the non-NHLers last chance to impress the coaches before Swedens Olympic squad selection. Oilers prospect Linus Omark has been on the bubble for a while, and needed a really strong showing to make the team.

He really had a great game today against Finland, but sadly his play throughout the tournament probably hasn't earned him one of the last slots on the team. At least according to the experts and Omark himself, who was pretty much heartbroken that his chances to play in Vancouver are slim at best.

Do the injuries that the Swedes are suffering help his chances at all?
