Word today that Curtis Glencross has been suspended three games for heresy. Even the NHL knows you shouldn't leave Edmonton to play for the Flames. In addition to the heresy charge, the league took a Saturday hit on Chris Drury into consideration. If you watch the video you can see that Curtis Glencross assumed Drury would be receiving a pass from the Ranger defenceman and so he gives the previously-concussed Drury a good-old-Saskatchewan-head-shot. But Drury never was receiving a pass. The Ranger defenseman passed to someone else and the puck never came close to Drury. And now Drury is likely concussed again. It's strange; when Glencross was in Edmonton he always seemed like a classy guy. I guess this is just another example of Jarome Iginla's leadership at work. Yeah Calgary!
