Souray and Staios Injury Update

Sheldon Souray spoke to the media today and said that he's been free of symptoms for the last three or four days.  He also said that he hasn't been able to put in any work since the concussion until the last couple of days when he started skating and working some cardio.  It may still be several days, even if he has no setbacks, before he's able to return to the lineup.

Steve Staios is returning to the lineup (for the second time) from his concussion.  Souray mentioned that the team was trying to learn from Staios (among others) coming back too soon from his concussion earlier this year sohopefully this time it's properly healed and he won't suffer any more lingering effects.

Souray can’t get back soon enough. As long as he’s out, Struddy strud is going to be relied on.

Agreed, though I’m not totally sure Strudwick wouldn’t find a way to stay in the lineup even if all 8D are healthy.

Where have you gone, Sheldon Souray? A nation turns its lonely eyes to you.
