Oilers vs. Kings, 11/25/09 - The Mullet Is Injured

Battle Of California

Star-divide

Anyone that doesn't think the Kings should return to the purple and gold colors is colorblind and possibly tasteless.  There were some beauty uniforms in there before they fell for the conformity of black with black trim uniforms.

The Mullet is on IR.

Anze Kopitar is missing Ryan Smyth.  So are thousands of Edmontonians, most of them are commentors for ten or so blogs.

According to Battle of Cali, Jonathan Quick is struggling.  The Oilers only beat backups and the injured, so this may be great news!

The Kings are extremely similar to the Flyers.  Right down to the flighty goaltender.

I’m missing all our NHL players, not Smyth in particular.

Remember, guys, Smitty never took a hometown discount! He may have loved Edmonton but he treated hockey like a business all the way. And so should we.

What the hell kind of injury is “other – excused”? Is it an upper-body, lower-body, or a “head” injury? Whatever it is, it’s catching.

Sneezed really hard, said “excuse me”.

Don’t joke. Mario sneezed and missed two games once.

Apparently a groin injury combined with some weird-ass form of arthritis that’s treated with steroids.

The history nerd in me appreciates all these 80s logos you’re posting, BTW, Derek. Bring back the Smythe Division!
