I didn't much like the way Horcoff looked filing into the dressing room after he got starched by Sutton.

Horcoff was definitely favouring his left arm after the game -- what I saw had shoulder separation written all over it. That's just speculation on my part right now, but it's worth keeping an eye on.

Brule and Cogliano aren’t NHL centres.

I’m going to disagree on Brule. Check out his off/def. zone start ratio and his corsi. Kid’s coming along.

Coming along? He’s getting buried. That may be linemates at this point, but it will only get worse if he has to take Horc’s matchups.

I said this in a private email conversation a couple of minutes ago:

There’s no way to fix this. At all. They can’t trade for anyone. They have no one to step up. There is no one to sign.

Two years and no one in management can sign a second center.

Two years.

For me, the Nordiques are like another Flames. Can’t do it.

Or maybe Spring 2008! With Horcoff down we can let the kids and bangers run wild with luck while… Reasoner… Stoll… Brule! takes the defensive load!

And Stortini!
