Around SBN: Will Rhymes 'Fine' After Being Hit By Pitch And Fainting

Clips from Pat Quinn's Presser

I'm beginning to love Pat Quinn's press conferences.  I listen and wait for the next old-timey nugget that he busts our, or the next no-so-subtle jab at someone who isn't "going".  It's never mean-spirited, like the coach from last year, but it's honest and the point is made.  He had a few of them in this presser as well.

More Oilers vs Senators coverage.

Star-divide

I thought Cogliano had his best game, he was real strong for us tonight. You kind of hoped he could crack the goose on the breakaway, but probably should have drew a penalty on that as well.

--on Andrew Cogliano

I think Ethan's game has been a little bit better. We need our veterans to play well for us. We're young in some spots, so our veterans have to be the guys that show the way. They haven't quite been there for us, so maybe we've turned the corner with a good perfromance there. Pisani was solid on that line with the couple of kids that were called up.

--on the Oiler veterans Ethan Moreau and Fernando Pisani.

I think he did alright, he didn't have a lot of shifts, but he did fine when he had the opportunity.

--on Ryan O'Marra

Yeah, he had a big period in the third period for sure. He made a couple of big plays and we didn't finish with it. Pat had a some opportunities. Somehow we have to find a way to get him putting some pucks in. That line needs to be good. We got one guy playing real good right now and he needs some guys going with him.

--on Dustin Penner

He wanted to play defense tonight it looked like, making some passes and plays...

--on Jeff Deslauriers
