Teemu picked up an assist as KalPa poured it on Ilves Tuesday night in Kuopio without Owner and Captain Sami Kapanen.  KalPa has now moved into second place in the SM-Liiga as the turnaround story continues*.  Hartikainen once against skated on the recently-formed second line with Tommi Miettinen and Kalle Kerman.  Hartikainen has 4 points in his last 4 games and 10 points in 15 games so far this season.

A look at what can be expected of the young Finn in his Sophomore season here.

*In the last four years, KalPa has finished 14th, 14th, 13th and 5th in the regular season standings.  They finished 3rd in last season's playoffs and the young Oiler prospect would benefit from another deep playoff run.

Do you think he will reach that 20 goal plateau??

Not with these shooting percentages, he won’t.

However, he keeps getting assists, which is something that he wasn’t getting last year, probably due to his linemates. If he ends up with 34-35 points, like he’s trending towards, the Oilers should be tickled.

If he benefits from playing and staying on the second line and breaks 40, he’s going to be a top prospect.
