Star-divide

KalPa shut out Tappara in Tampere Thursday evening as Hartikainen started the game on the right wing on the second line, a new spot for him.  The KalPa website mentions that the new second line,(Hartikainen with Liiga veterans Tommi Miettinen and Kalle Kerman) is going to be a strength in the near future.

Earlier in the week, KalPa coach Pekka Virta expressed disappointment that the normally lethal power play had gone soft and demanded better play from his first unit.  Hartikainen obliged by scoring on a 5-on-3 early in the third period to break a 0-0 tie.  Hartikainen added 5 shots on goal and was named the game's second star.   Teemu's popped in 9 points in 13 games and 34 shots on goal.
