From TSN.ca:The Vancouver Canucks are poised to make Mike Gillis their new general manager.
CTV British Columbia has confirmed a report that the former player agent will join the Canucks' front office. Gillis has no previous management experience.
The team is expected to make the official announcement on Wednesday.
Gillis is the current agent of Canucks captain Markus Naslund.

No managment experience, plus he's the agent of the Canucks 6-million dollar support player? Whoohoo. I didn't think the Nonis firing was all that bad, up until right now.
